Safety was the most important aspect in the design of the Model 3. Its metal structure combines steel and aluminum, for maximum strength in all areas. Passed a roof stress test, the Model 3 supported four times its own weight, despite its all-glass roof. This weight is equivalent to that of two adult African elephants.

The Tesla all-wheel drive has two independent motors. Unlike traditional all-wheel-drive systems, these two engines digitally control the torque transmitted to the front and rear wheels, for superior handling and better grip control. Your vehicle can be driven by either engine. If one stops working, the other takes over and you can continue your journey in peace to your destination.
